EXPRESS SERVICE
What is the express service?
The express service is perfect for busy people who require certain types of notarial act. Appointments are flexible and are usually available at short notice.
Here is how it works:-
• Email over good quality complete scans of the documents that are to be notarised.
• Email over good quality scans of your identity documents.
• We will prepare the documents and let you know when they are ready.
• Let us know when you are able to come in.
• Bring the originals of all the scanned documents when you come to collect the documents.
Express appointments are, by their nature, quick and can often be arranged at a convenient time, including evenings and weekends. You can park directly outside and there shouldn’t be any waiting around so it is perfect if you are busy or have limited availability for a full face to face appointment.
Turnaround times vary and will be advised at the time of the instructions. The vast majority of express acts are ready either the same or the next day. If the documents need to be verified this can slow the process down. Please let us know if you have any specific time frames.
We will usually have to see the bearer of the documents in person. If this will not be possible then please let us know at the time of making the appointment.
If you do not have access to a scanner, or original documents need to be notarised (eg police checks) you can still use the express service by dropping in your original papers instead of scanning them.
Express appointments are perfect for:-
• True copies of identification documentation
• Verified original documents
• Certain company statements
Express appointments are not* suitable for:-
• Powers of attorney
• Oaths and declarations
• Attestations and acknowledgements
• Consents or authorities
• Contracts
*Although the full express service is not suitable for these types of notarial act we can offer split appointments where part of our appointment takes place by telephone making the face to face appointment much shorter.
Per our usual terms and conditions
payment is due prior to release of the notarial acts. This may be done electronically prior to the appointment or in cash upon collection. Alternative payment methods can be discussed upon request.
If you require an apostilled
or further legalisation
this service can still be used but you will receive your papers by courier after they have been legalised.
