A very common request is to certify copy documents such as passports or certificates.
When certifying certificates we typically offer our clients two options; verified or unverified.
In order to verify documents the notary will typically contact the issuing body and ask them to verify the contents of the document. In the case of university certificates this is sometimes done through a third party or direct with the university and there is typically an additional charge for this service.
The recipient of your document should be able to advise you as to whether or not your copy certificates need to be verified. We are happy to supply you with sample forms of wording to check with your recipient if required. Just ask when you get in touch.
